Junior forward Aiden Fink signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators, the club announced on April 13. Fink becomes the 15th Penn State Nittany Lion in program history to sign an NHL contract and is the third player this year to do so.
Fink’s signing marks another milestone for Penn State’s hockey program as it continues to produce professional-level talent. The move follows his recent stint with the Milwaukee Admirals, where he played six games and registered ten points, including a four-assist game that helped clinch a playoff spot.
Head coach Guy Gadowsky said, “Aiden Fink has had great success in his three years at Penn State and we are all thrilled for him to be signing a contract with Nashville. His offensive statistics and skills are well documented, but he will also be remembered for his attention to puck management and how much he gave of himself every game. He absolutely earned this contract, and we all wish him the very best.”
Fink ends his college career tied for third on Penn State’s all-time scoring list with 125 points from 48 goals and 77 assists. He was named a 2026 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention and became the fastest Nittany Lion to reach 100 career points in just his 87th game. During his sophomore season, Fink helped lead Penn State to its first Frozen Four appearance while setting several program records.
In addition to being selected as a unanimous member of the All-Big Ten First Team in 2025—the first ever for a Nittany Lion—Fink was also recognized as Penn State’s first Hobey Baker Award Top-10 Finalist and named Second-Team All-American. Despite missing part of his junior season due to injury, he finished with ten goals and twenty-eight assists over thirty games.
Penn State concluded its season after falling to Minnesota-Duluth in the Albany Regional semifinals, ending with an overall record of twenty-one wins, fourteen losses, and two ties.
