Big Ten announces early season kickoff times for Penn State football

The Big Ten Conference announced on May 27 the kickoff times and television designations for the first three games of the 2026 Penn State football season.

The Nittany Lions will begin the Matt Campbell era at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, September 5, facing Marshall with a scheduled kickoff at 3:30 p.m. on FS1. The following week, Penn State will travel to Lincoln Financial Field to play Temple on Saturday, September 12. That game is set to start at noon and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Penn State’s non-conference schedule concludes with a home game against Buffalo on Saturday, September 19. Kickoff is set for noon and coverage will be provided by Big Ten Network. Additionally, the conference announced that Penn State’s homecoming game against Wisconsin is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, and will start no later than 5 p.m., though an exact time has not yet been determined.

The remainder of the schedule includes matchups against Northwestern (October 2), USC (October 10), Michigan (October 17), Purdue (October 31), Washington (November 7), Minnesota (November 14), Rutgers (November 21), and Maryland (November 28). Several of these games have yet to receive official kickoff times or television assignments.
