A Pittsburgh resident has admitted guilt in a federal court for involvement in trafficking fentanyl and cocaine. Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti announced that DeVaughn Faulk, 28, from the Bon Air neighborhood, pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges related to distributing these controlled substances.
The guilty plea was submitted before United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan. The court was informed that between March and July of 2024, Faulk participated in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and cocaine by acting as a redistributor at the street level.
Sentencing is scheduled for November 12, 2025. Faulk faces a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $1 million, or both. The actual sentence will depend on the seriousness of the offenses and any prior criminal history.
Faulk will remain in custody until sentencing. Assistant United States Attorneys Katherine C. Jordan and Kelly M. Locher are handling the prosecution. The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation leading to Faulk’s prosecution.
This case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation aimed at dismantling high-level drug traffickers and other criminal organizations through a collaborative approach involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
