Rep. Brendan Boyle, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 2nd district since 2015, recently addressed several national issues in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On September 14, 2025, Boyle warned about the potential impact of recent legislative actions on healthcare coverage, stating, “The health care cuts caused by Trump’s Big Bill for Billionaires are quickly approaching — millions of Americans will lose their health care, and millions more will see their prices go up. I’m doing everything in my power to avert this crisis.”

In another post dated September 16, 2025, Boyle commented on current economic conditions and recent appointments to the Federal Reserve Board: “Inflation is climbing, and the job market is shrinking. Now, Senate Republicans rubber-stamped a Trump lackey to serve on the board of the Federal Reserve, which will just make things worse. Republicans seem dead set on sabotaging our economy.”

That same day, he marked National Voter Registration Day with a call to civic participation: “Today is National Voter Registration Day! Democracy is not a spectator sport — make your voice count by registering to vote in local, state, and federal elections. Check your status or register to vote here:”

Boyle has represented Pennsylvania’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Allyson Schwartz in 2015. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015. Born in Philadelphia in 1977 and currently residing there at age 46, Boyle graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in 1999.
