Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress, recently shared several posts on social media. Fitzpatrick, a Philadelphia native and graduate of La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University, has been serving since 2017 after succeeding Mike Fitzpatrick.

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick shared a link with his followers to read more about an unspecified topic: “Read more: https://t.co/7CrbAZ4nu6”.

Later that day, he expressed his condolences over the death of his colleague Rep. Raul Grijalva. He noted Grijalva’s dedication to public service and leadership in preserving natural resources: “I am deeply saddened by the passing of my colleague and friend, @RepRaulGrijalva, a steadfast champion for our public lands and a dedicated public servant. His leadership on the Natural Resources Committee helped preserve our nation’s natural treasures for generations to come.… https://t.co/iP7SdSvBZM”.

Pennsylvania sees 13.2% drop in corporation net income taxes collections in 2024

Out of the $55.2 billion in total tax revenue collected by Pennsylvania in 2024, $5 billion came from corporation net income taxes, representing a decrease from the previous year, when the total was $5.7 billion, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
