PennDOT District 11 has announced that inspection activities on the 40th Street Bridge in Pittsburgh will take place from Monday to Wednesday, June 16-18, weather permitting. The bridge, which carries Route 2124 over the Allegheny River, will have a single-lane restriction from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day as crews from the Larson Design Group conduct the inspection work.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution while using the bridge during this period. “Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility,” PennDOT emphasized.
