Philadelphia Union II played Columbus Crew 2 on May 17 at Kinetic Field at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex, finishing with a 1-1 draw in regulation before losing in an extended penalty shootout. Zachary Zengue scored first for Columbus in the 26th minute, and Stas Korzeniowski equalized for Union II four minutes later with a header assisted by Matheus De Paula. After regulation time ended level, Columbus secured an extra point by winning the shootout 8-7.
