Junior attacker Delaney Radin was named to the Women’s Watch List for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Presented by Stifel, according to an announcement from the Tewaaraton Foundation on Mar. 26.
The recognition highlights Radin as one of the top players in college lacrosse this season. She is among thirteen second round additions for this year’s award watch list and becomes the second Penn State player included, joining senior captain Erika Ho.
Radin has achieved a strong start in the 2026 season, earning her first Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor after standout performances against Colgate and San Diego State. She has set new single-season career highs in goals, assists, points, shots, shots on goal, free position shots, and free position goals. Her total of 35 assists more than doubles her previous career assist total. With fifty points this season so far, she leads all Big Ten players in assists and ranks eighth nationally in Division I for assists. She also holds fifth place among Big Ten players for points and eighteenth nationally.
A notable performance came against Colgate when Radin recorded nine points and tied a program record with eight assists—a mark originally set by Marsha Florio in 1985 against Princeton. This achievement also ties her with two other NCAA athletes for most single-game assists this season. Additionally, she holds both of the highest single-game assist totals within the Big Ten this year.
According to The Tewaaraton Foundation: “The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. Founded at the University Club of Washington, D.C., the award was first presented in 2001 with permission from the Mohawk Nation Council of Elders. ‘Tewaaraton’ is the Mohawk word for lacrosse, and The Tewaaraton Award symbolizes lacrosse’s Native American Heritage.”
The foundation also said it presents two scholarships each year to students from Haudenosaunee Confederacy nations.
