The Eagles Autism Foundation announced on May 7 the completion of a partnership with Tork, an Essity brand, to upgrade restrooms at Lincoln Financial Field for greater accessibility and inclusivity. The project, conducted with the Tork Coalition for Inclusive Hygiene and guided by feedback from the Eagles Autism Foundation community, focused on renovating three Lower Suites restrooms near the stadium’s Sensory Room.
This initiative aims to provide a more welcoming hygiene experience for guests of all abilities. As part of this collaboration, Ryan Hammond, Executive Director of the Eagles Autism Foundation, has joined the Tork Coalition for Inclusive Hygiene. “The Tork brand’s commitment and innovation have helped reimagine the ways in which we can further serve and support our guests at Lincoln Financial Field,” said Hammond. “These upgrades align perfectly with our mission to create accessible environments where individuals of all abilities can participate alongside their peers. We’re excited for what these changes will mean for our guests, especially leading into a major slate of events this summer at Lincoln Financial Field.”
Renovations include adult changing tables with Everwipe by Tork disinfectant wipes, higher urinal and stall dividers to enhance privacy and comfort, warm lighting paired with soothing music to create a calming atmosphere, constant air fresheners from Tork, as well as other features designed to improve accessibility. The upgraded restrooms also offer inclusive hygiene solutions found throughout main concourse restrooms such as high-capacity hand towels and soap dispensers.
The stadium provides additional resources including visual schedules that help guests prepare for visits by understanding what to expect; Fan Services offers sensory bags; there is also a sensory room available; now these newly renovated restrooms add another layer of support through inclusive hygiene design.
“Since 2024, Tork has been on a journey to shine a light on the hygiene barriers that exist in public restrooms – barriers that are often invisible to those who operate public spaces but very real to users,” said Raquel Carbonari, Brand Activation Director at Essity Professional Hygiene. “It’s been incredible to see how this message has resonated with facility leaders across the country… Bringing inclusive hygiene to Lincoln Financial Field – where so many fans will experience the difference firsthand… is exactly the kind of impact we set out to make.” Uma Srivastava, Executive Director at KultureCity added: “These restroom upgrades at Lincoln Financial Field paired with the existing sensory room are exactly what best-in-class fan experience looks like… when you design holistically for everyone more people can show up participate and truly belong – from attending events working dining learning or traveling.”
