The Philadelphia Eagles announced on June 1 that they have signed wide receiver Samori Toure and released linebacker Chandler Martin to make room on the roster.

Toure, who stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 196 pounds, entered the National Football League as a seventh-round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers out of Nebraska in 2022. He previously worked with Eagles Offensive Coordinator Sean Mannion during Mannion’s first season with the Packers in 2024. In his first two seasons with Green Bay, Toure played in 22 games and recorded 13 receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown.

After being released by the Packers following Training Camp in 2024, Toure spent time on the Chicago Bears’ practice squad that season. He was later part of practice squads for both Denver and New Orleans in 2025, appearing in one game for the Saints. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Toure began his college football career at Montana, where he earned FCS third-team All-American honors and was named Big Sky Conference Receiver of the Year in 2019. He set single-season records at Montana with 87 catches for 1,495 yards and had an FCS playoff-record performance of 303 receiving yards against Southeast Louisiana. After not playing during the COVID-impacted season of 2020, he transferred to Nebraska, where he led the team with 898 receiving yards and five touchdowns in his final collegiate year.

Chandler Martin went undrafted out of Memphis in 2025 before signing with the Baltimore Ravens. After being waived when Baltimore reduced its roster to meet league requirements, Martin rejoined their practice squad and was elevated for three games where he contributed exclusively on special teams. The Eagles signed him this March prior to releasing him.

The Eagles operate as a professional American football team based in Philadelphia since joining the National Football League in 1933; they provide games along with related offerings such as news coverage, media content, ticketing services, fan engagement opportunities, merchandise sales, and draw fans from both local communities and across the nation through various channels including live events, according to their official website.
