East Rochester-Monaca Bridge inspections set for June with lane restrictions

PennDOT District 11 has announced that inspection activities will take place on the East Rochester-Monaca Bridge, located on Route 51 in East Rochester and Monaca boroughs, Beaver County. The inspections are scheduled for Monday through Friday, June 16-20, weather permitting.

During this period, a single-lane restriction will be in effect on the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Flaggers will be present to assist motorists navigating through the work zone. The inspection work will be conducted by crews from Mackin Engineering and the Sofis Company.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling on the bridge during these times. For real-time updates on road conditions, drivers can visit www.511PA.com. This service is free and available 24 hours a day, offering traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to over 1,000 traffic cameras.
