Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Education Committee Meeting

Consistent with the goals and objectives of the Chamber of Commerce, promote all phases of career education and training. In any one year, this will include some of the following: career reference systems, cooperative partnerships, continuing education, mid-career changes, field trips, school career days, work force re-entry, coordinate available training programs, career awareness, special events, career counseling, lectures, tutoring and goal setting. Through appropriate process, recognize outstanding achievement by individuals in the community and area deemed relevant by the education committee. Promote the needs of youth and other age groups as they relate to the field of education.
