FOIA Request to Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Greater Allegheny regarding Public University FY 2024 Employee Salaries on December 5, 2025.

On December 5, 2025, Keystone Today submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Greater Allegheny. The request seeks detailed records concerning employee compensation for all individuals employed by the university during Fiscal Year 2024. This request is made under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law.

The requested information includes comprehensive data fields such as fiscal year, employee name, gender, age or year of birth, date of birth, employer name, title or position, department, hire date, compensation amount and type, and employment type. Keystone Today has expressed a preference for receiving this information in electronic format and requests that any exempt portions be provided in redacted form rather than withheld entirely.

Keystone Today emphasizes the importance of access to public records for media professionals who aim to hold public institutions accountable and ensure transparency. As a member of The Coalition Opposing Governmental Secrecy—a non-profit organization assisting media companies in investigating governmental agencies—Keystone Today has also requested a fee waiver for this FOIA request.
