A Harrisburg man has been sentenced to a decade in prison for drug trafficking, according to an announcement from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Muhammad Adnan, 21, received his sentence on July 2, 2025, from Senior United States District Judge Malachy E. Mannion.
Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus stated that Adnan was indicted alongside three codefendants for distributing methamphetamine in quantities of 50 grams or more on several occasions between November 2023 and February 2024 in Harrisburg. Adnan entered a guilty plea for distributing methamphetamine on February 27, 2025.
Among Adnan’s codefendants, Urias Williams has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing. Aaron Pitts is set to go to trial on October 6, 2025, while Aaron Gambino remains a fugitive.
The investigation was conducted by multiple agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Capital City Safe Streets Task Force, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Pennsylvania State Police, Dauphin County Drug Task Force, and Harrisburg Bureau of Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael A. Consiglio is leading the prosecution.
This case falls under Operation Take Back America (https://www.justice.gov/dag/media/1393746/dl?inline), a national initiative aimed at combating illegal immigration and dismantling cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) to protect communities from violent crime perpetrators. The operation consolidates efforts from the Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
It should be noted that indictments are merely allegations and all individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
