A Johnstown, Pennsylvania resident has admitted guilt in federal court to charges of possessing and distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine, according to an announcement from First Assistant United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.
Che Rose, 39, entered a guilty plea to Count One of the Superseding Indictment before United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan on December 2, 2025. According to information presented during the plea hearing, Rose conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute mixtures containing fentanyl and cocaine base (commonly known as “crack”) between April 2024 and June 2024 in the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Sentencing for Rose is scheduled for April 1, 2026. The maximum penalty under federal law includes up to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $1 million. The actual sentence will be determined by the seriousness of the offense and any prior criminal history.
Assistant United States Attorney Arnold P. Bernard Jr. is handling the prosecution for the government.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Laurel Highlands Resident Agency’s Safe Streets Task Force along with the Cambria County Drug Task Force.
