The Dallas Wings announced on May 21 that Kim Adams, a former Penn Quakers women’s basketball player and Wharton School graduate, will join the team’s broadcast crew as an analyst for the franchise’s 29th season.

Adams graduated from the Wharton School in 2011 and later earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She began her broadcasting career with the BIG EAST Digital Network in 2015. Since then, she has worked as an analyst and sideline reporter for networks including ACC Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, Westwood One Sports, and FOX Sports. Her experience also includes calling games for the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun and NBA G League.

During her two seasons playing for Penn’s women’s basketball team, Adams appeared in 46 games. She scored a total of 366 points and recorded 51 assists while shooting over 35 percent from three-point range. In her first year with the team in Philadelphia, she was named to the All-Ivy Rookie Team after finishing as Penn’s second-leading scorer at nine points per game. That season she shot over fifty percent from both the field and beyond the arc and reached double figures ten times.
