Klunk and Phillips-Hill to host license plate replacement event in Hanover on May 26

State Rep. Kate Klunk announced on May 12 that she will co-host a damaged license plate replacement event with Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill for residents of the 169th District. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Klunk’s district office located at 118 Carlisle St., Hanover.

The purpose of the event is to offer constituents a convenient way to replace damaged or hard-to-read Pennsylvania license plates. Local police officers will be present to help complete necessary paperwork, alongside staff from Klunk’s district office.

“I am happy to be partnering with Sen. Phillips-Hill to provide an opportunity for my constituents to conveniently replace their damaged and hard-to-read license plates,” said Klunk. “Local police will be on-site to facilitate the completion of paperwork along with my district office staff. I am looking forward to seeing many friends and neighbors use this free service.”

Residents who wish to participate must bring an unexpired Pennsylvania driver’s license and current vehicle registration; all state-issued plates can be processed during the event. RSVPs are encouraged by calling Klunk’s office at 717-630-8942.

Klunk has held several leadership roles in the House, including chairing the House Children and Youth Committee as Republican leader and serving on other committees such as Ethics, Judiciary, and Rules, according to the official website. She also completed the Anne B. Anstine Excellence in Public Service Series in 2013 and holds degrees from Dickinson College as well as a juris doctor from The Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University, according to the official website.
