A $1.9 million project to improve Lamor Road (Route 3020) in Hermitage, Mercer County, is set to commence on June 9, 2025. The project will enhance a 0.58-mile stretch from the intersection with Route 18 to North Keel Ridge Road (Route 3011). Planned improvements include milling and paving, traffic signal updates, roadway widening for additional shoulders, and curve enhancements near the Carol S. Gurrera Village driveway. Additional work involves drainage upgrades, curb and sidewalk improvements, tree trimming, and updates to signs and road markings.

Construction is expected to start on June 9, 2025, weather permitting, with completion anticipated by November 2025. A detour for westbound traffic will be implemented using North Keel Ridge Road, Route 62, and Route 18 for four months.

Kirilia Contractors, Inc., based in Brookfield, Ohio, has been contracted for the project at a cost of $1,932,627. Funding is provided entirely by state funds.
