A Lancaster man has been indicted on federal drug and gun charges, according to an announcement by United States Attorney David Metcalf. Dwain London Jr., 37, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and cocaine, as well as two firearms offenses.
The indictment alleges that on May 14, 2025, London possessed more than 28 grams of crack cocaine and a detectable amount of cocaine with the intent to distribute them. Authorities also allege that he had a loaded 9 mm semiautomatic handgun at the time. Because London is a convicted felon, he was not legally permitted to possess the firearm.
If found guilty, London could face up to life in prison and a fine of $5.5 million. There is also a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison if convicted.
“This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Lancaster County Drug Task Force and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas M. Zaleski,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Officials emphasized that all charges are allegations at this stage. “The charges and allegations contained in the indictment are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty in court,” said the statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
