Line painting operations are set to commence next week across several counties in north central Pennsylvania. The affected areas include Union, Snyder, Northumberland, Columbia, and Montour counties. Starting Sunday, July 13, 2025, the District Line Paint Crew will conduct these operations from Sundays through Fridays between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM. The project is anticipated to last about a month, depending on weather conditions.

Motorists encountering slow-moving vehicles during this period should be aware that it might be due to line painting activities. Drivers are advised to exercise patience, maintain distance from wet paint lines, and avoid overtaking the trucks involved in the operation. The paint truck will occasionally pull over to allow traffic to pass.

For real-time updates on road conditions, motorists can visit www.511PA.com. This service is free and operates around the clock, offering traffic delay alerts, weather forecasts, traffic speed data, and access to over 1,000 traffic cameras.
