PECO Energy is set to begin utility construction on County Line Road in Philadelphia and Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that the work will commence on Monday, June 16.

The construction will necessitate a road closure from Monday, June 16, through Thursday, June 26. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, Mondays through Thursdays. The affected area extends between Route 532 (Bustleton Avenue/Bustleton Pike) and Barcalow Street.

During this period, motorists will be directed to use alternative routes including Route 532 (Bustleton Pike), Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 232 (Second Street Pike). Local access will remain available.

Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time due to expected backups and delays. All scheduled activities are subject to weather conditions. PECO Energy is undertaking this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
