Penn State announced on Mar. 27 that the start time for its Big Ten Conference softball series finale against Northwestern has been changed to 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field. The adjustment was made after both coaching staffs agreed it would best accommodate the travel needs of the visiting team.

The games scheduled for Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, will proceed as planned at 5 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively. All three contests will be open to the public with free admission, and parking can be arranged in advance through the ParkWhiz app or on game days using the HONK app.

Fans who cannot attend in person will have access to live streams of all games via B1G+. Penn State encourages supporters to regularly check its official schedule webpage at GoPSUsports.com or follow team updates on social media platforms such as Facebook (/pennstatesoftball), Instagram, and X (@PennStateSB) for any further changes or information regarding scheduled events.

The university also notes that this season is presented by Highmark.

The adjustment aims to ensure smooth travel logistics for both teams while maintaining accessibility for fans.
