Penn State Athletics announced on May 6 that the student football season ticket sale for the 2026 home games will begin on July 20. Eligible students can request tickets through an online lottery system, with each class assigned a specific one-week window to submit their requests via the Penn State Student Account Manager.

The seven-game home season ticket package will cost $246, which is unchanged from last year. Students are limited to one ticket each, and all tickets will be mobile-only and accessed digitally. Eligibility for the lottery is determined by official University semester classification as of June 30 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. Changes in academic status after this date will not affect eligibility or request windows.

Students eligible to participate in the process will receive an email during the week of July 13 detailing their specific request window. Requests must be submitted online during these windows, with payment processed upon submission; those not selected in the lottery will receive a full refund. The order of request windows starts with graduate students on July 20 and concludes with freshmen on July 31.

Notifications about selection results will be sent via email during the week of August 3. Ticket request timing within a student’s assigned window does not impact their chances in the lottery.

To qualify, sophomore, junior, and senior students must be registered for at least twelve credits for Fall semester by June 30; freshmen and new transfers must meet all admission standards by that date; graduate students must either be active or newly admitted into a master’s or doctoral program by June 30 as well. Commonwealth campus students follow guidelines for full-time students rather than transfer policies; Penn College and World Campus full-time students are also eligible under similar terms.

The Nittany Lions’ home schedule includes games against Marshall (September 5), Buffalo (September 19), Wisconsin (September 26), USC (October 10), Purdue (October 31), Minnesota (November 14), and Rutgers (November 21).
