Penn State announced on Apr. 3 that its baseball team has adjusted its weekend schedule against No. 19 Nebraska because of expected cold and rainy weather.

The change is intended to ensure the safety of players and fans, as well as to avoid potential disruptions caused by inclement conditions. The new plan will have the series begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 4, starting at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. The final game of the series is still scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Nittany Lions are led by head coach Mike Gambino and currently hold an overall record of 8-18, with a conference record of 3-6 in Big Ten play.
