The Big Ten Conference announced on Apr. 27 that all three games of the upcoming Penn State softball series against No. 4 Nebraska will be broadcast live nationwide on the Big Ten Network and FOX Sports App from Nittany Lion Softball Park & Beard Field, scheduled for May 1 through May 3.

This marks the first time since April 11, 2023, that a Penn State home softball game will be televised nationally. The announcement is significant for fans who wish to follow the team and for those interested in increased visibility for collegiate softball events.

Due to the Big Ten Network’s wildcard designation, start times have been adjusted for two of the three games. Friday’s game remains at 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Saturday’s game is set for a 2:30 p.m. start, and Sunday’s matchup will begin at noon Eastern Time. Admission to all three games is free, with parking available through pre-payment via the ParkWhiz app or on game days using the HONK app.

Fans are encouraged to check regularly for updates regarding scheduling or event details by visiting GoPSUsports.com or following Penn State softball’s official social media channels including Facebook (/pennstatesoftball), Instagram, and X (@PennStateSB).

The university said that “the 2026 Penn State softball season is presented by Highmark.”
