The University of Pennsylvania women’s tennis team will conclude its regular season with away matches at Brown on Saturday and Yale on Sunday, according to an April 17 announcement from the university.
These final two contests mark the end of the Quakers’ regular season as they aim to secure their first road win. The team is coming off a close 4-3 victory over Cornell in their last home match.
Senior Maya Urata played a key role in that win, securing both a doubles victory and clinching the overall match in singles during her final appearance at home. Teammates Esha Velaga, Lara Stojanovski, and Varsha Vedula also contributed singles wins against Cornell.
The Quakers have now achieved eleven wins this season. As they prepare for their last two matches, they are focused on building momentum and ending their campaign strongly.
Looking ahead, Penn hopes to translate its recent success into road victories before closing out the regular schedule.
