The PennDOT Engineering District 4 Traffic Bulletin has resumed for the spring 2025 construction season and will continue until the winter of 2025/2026. This bulletin provides updates on travel restrictions scheduled on state-owned highways in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming counties. The information is updated in real-time during normal business hours.

“The schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances,” according to the bulletin. The link to the Traffic Bulletin will be emailed every Friday but can be accessed at any time. To view it, visit the District 4 Department of Transportation Commonwealth of Pennsylvania homepage and click on Traffic Bulletin.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. This service is free and available 24 hours a day, offering traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to over 1,000 traffic cameras. It is also accessible through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or via regional Twitter alerts available on the 511PA website.
