The Philadelphia Union announced on Apr. 28 that Star Wars Night will return to Subaru Park on May 2, when the team faces Nashville SC at 7:30 p.m.
The event aims to engage fans of all ages with themed activities and competitions throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to wear Star Wars costumes, with separate contests for adults and children taking place during the festivities.
According to the club, fans can expect photo opportunities with characters from both sides of the Force, as well as a variety of interactive experiences. The theme night begins at Union Yards, where exclusive non-alcoholic beverages inspired by Star Wars will be available for this match only. The adult costume contest is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. near the DJ Stage, followed by a Union Chalk Talk hosted by Sage Hurley and Dave Leno.
At Subaru Plaza, children can explore a Millenium Falcon inflatable and navigate an AT-AT obstacle course. Kids Club members have an opportunity to meet Jedi Phang between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., after which youth fans aged 13 and under may participate in their own costume competition at Phang’s Playground.
Inside Subaru Park, special motion graphics and appearances by Star Wars characters are planned along the concourse. A halftime presentation is also set for attendees who remain in their seats during intermission.
