Philadelphia Union will host Unity Night, presented by Penn Medicine, during its Major League Soccer match against Columbus Crew SC on May 16. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time and will be broadcast on Apple TV.

Unity Night aims to bring fans together with a range of activities before and during the match. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as all parking lots open at 2:30 p.m., and parking passes can be purchased online in advance due to limited availability. Fans are also advised to download the Philadelphia Union App powered by Theta Network for ticket access and participation in pre-game activities.

Union Yards will offer food options such as Café Tinto, Tokio Sushi Truck, and Philip’s Steaks, along with themed cocktails like the Rio Refresher and Stars & Stripes. Musical entertainment from The Misphitz will take place during pregame festivities. On Subaru Plaza, additional cultural foods from Colombia and Jamaica will be available starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by a performance from Brazilian drumline Batala at 6:00 p.m.

Special fan engagement opportunities include a limited-edition Unity Night poster for the first 300 visitors who have downloaded the app, a Fan Art Wall for global pride messages, and a chance for children’s digital cards to appear on the video board before kickoff. A non-perishable food drive benefiting Penn Medicine Community Fridge is being held in honor of World Hunger Day on May 28th; donations can be dropped off at the U-Serve tent located on Subaru Plaza.

The event continues Philadelphia Union’s commitment to community involvement through its U-Serve platform, which connects fans with volunteer opportunities across Greater Philadelphia. Rewards such as team merchandise are available through this program.
