A section of Market Street in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County, is set to close for a railroad crossing project. Starting Monday, July 7, 2025, the street will be closed between Snyder Street and Mill Street. The contractor, Lycoming Supply, will install a heavy-duty concrete tub/highway crossing across the road. A detour using Routes 11/15 and Market Street will be implemented during the project.

The work is expected to finish by Thursday, July 17, 2025, depending on weather conditions. This project involves collaboration between the SEDA COG Joint Rail Authority, North Shore Railroad, and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Motorists are advised to remain alert, reduce speed, anticipate travel delays, and drive cautiously. Road conditions can be checked at www.511PA.com. The service offers traffic delay warnings and other updates and is accessible via smartphone apps or by calling 5-1-1.
