Rep. Brendan Boyle, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 2nd district since 2015, recently shared several posts on his social media account addressing both community celebrations and federal policy issues.

On April 1, 2026, Boyle extended greetings to those observing Passover: “Chag Pesach Sameach to all celebrating Passover this evening in Philadelphia and around the world. I hope you enjoy time with your loved ones and may this season bring you all peace and joy.”

The following day, April 2, 2026, Boyle criticized former President Donald Trump’s handling of government spending and foreign policy: “Donald Trump promised lower costs on day one. Now he says we can’t afford it because of his reckless war in Iran. Under Republicans, there’s always money for foreign wars, but never enough to help the American people.”

Continuing his critique on April 3, 2026, Boyle commented on budget priorities under Trump’s administration: “Budgets are about values — and it’s painfully obvious Trump doesn’t care about working Americans. He’s asking Americans to foot the bill for his reckless war in Iran while cutting their health care, housing, education, and more. This budget is the epitome of ‘America Last.'”

Boyle has served as a member of Congress since replacing Allyson Schwartz in 2015 after previously serving in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015. Born in Philadelphia in 1977 and currently residing there at age 46, Boyle graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
