Rep. Brendan Boyle, who represents Pennsylvania’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media addressing recent events and commemorations.

On September 10, 2025, Boyle shared a resource for constituents about ongoing efforts with the message: “Learn more about how we’re fighting back here: https://t.co/vI4SpmC0nr”.

Later that day, he commented on an incident involving Charlie Kirk, stating: “I completely condemn the act of violence against Charlie Kirk. Political violence is not just an attack on a person, it’s an attack on democracy. It threatens us all. The shooter must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.” This statement was made following reports of violence targeting Kirk.

On September 11, 2025, Boyle marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a remembrance post: “Today, we solemnly remember the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. We will never forget the almost 3,000 victims of the attacks, nor the brave heroes who rushed into danger that day. https://t.co/MxFRyxfgEq”

Brendan Boyle has served in Congress since 2015 after replacing Allyson Schwartz and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015. Born in Philadelphia in 1977 and currently residing there, Boyle graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1999.
