Rep. Brendan Boyle, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 2nd district since 2015, posted a series of statements on social media regarding tax policy and accountability in late March 2026.

On March 26, Boyle wrote, “Hope you’ve cleared the day. You have a lot to answer for.”

The following day, he addressed the Ultra Millionaire Tax Act with two posts. At 22:00 UTC on March 27, he shared, “See my full statement on the Ultra Millionaire Tax Act here: https://t.co/NWPflebfpl”. In another post at the same time, Boyle stated, “A secretary shouldn’t pay a higher tax rate than the CEO. That’s just common sense.

Proud to reintroduce the Ultra Millionaire Tax Act with @RepJayapal & @SenWarren to unrig the tax code for working people and the middle class, and ensure billionaires pay their fair share.”

Boyle’s comments reflect ongoing debates about wealth inequality and tax reform in Congress. He has represented Pennsylvania’s 2nd District since succeeding Allyson Schwartz in 2015 and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015. Born in Philadelphia in 1977 and residing there currently, Boyle graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in 1999.
