In a statement shared via Twitter on April 7, 2025, Boyle addressed proposed Medicaid cuts, expressing his disapproval with a financial decision he considers harmful to citizens who rely on the program. “Republicans are pushing $880 BILLION in Medicaid cuts to fund tax giveaways to billionaires,” Boyle asserted, standing in support of the over 2.5 million Pennsylvanians utilizing Medicaid. He labeled the cuts “deeply immoral.”
The following day, April 8, 2025, Boyle tweeted about the unfortunate rescindment of federal funding initially intended for critical urban projects in Philadelphia. “I was proud to secure federal funding that would have replaced lead pipes, made travelers safer, and improved public safety here in Philadelphia,” he stated.
