His recent tweets cover concerns about pipeline safety, a pause on a proposed wastewater treatment plant, and a healthcare staffing shortage.
On March 11, Fitzpatrick met with residents of the Upper Makefield Task Force who expressed “urgent, unanswered questions for both Energy Transfer and PHMSA about the serious risks posed by the Sunoco Pipeline—questions that demand swift, transparent answers.” He reiterated his call for action on these concerns.
The following day, March 12, he announced what he described as “A Major Victory for Our Community!” regarding the proposed Wastewater Treatment Plant managed by the Newtown Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority. The project has been paused and will not proceed at this moment.
Later that day, during a Health Subcommittee Hearing of @WaysandMeansGOP on “After the Hospital: Ensuring Access to Quality Post-Acute Care,” Fitzpatrick highlighted a critical issue facing his community: “a severe shortage of healthcare staff.” This shortage is impacting patient care within his district.
