State Rep. Tom Mehaffie announced on April 20 that a Community Health and Resource Expo will be held on Thursday, May 7, at The Leader Center for Active Life.

The event aims to provide information about retirement communities, services for older adults, health systems, state agencies, and nonprofit organizations. It is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon and will feature more than three dozen vendors offering resources and free health screenings.

Mehaffie said, “I always leave the expo having learned something new, and I hope other attendees feel the same way. It is a great opportunity to learn about regional services all in one place.”

Vendors interested in participating are required to pre-register for the event. Additional information can be obtained by calling Mehaffie’s office at 717-534-1323.

The expo offers an opportunity for community members to connect with various organizations and access valuable wellness resources.
