The Pennsylvania GOP announced on X that the state Senate has passed two bills sponsored by Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill.
Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, has said that the state is experiencing significant teacher shortages across its classrooms.
Peter Schweyer, the state representative for Pennsylvania’s 134th District, said that the state must increase funding for substitute teacher stipends to address the shortage of certified teachers.
