Pedro Villot-Ortiz, a 26-year-old resident of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 151 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. The sentencing was handed down by United States District Judge Karoline Mehalchick.
United States Attorney Brian D. Miller stated that on July 25, 2025, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant at Villot-Ortiz’s residence in Shenandoah. During the search, investigators seized methamphetamine and cocaine that Villot-Ortiz intended to sell. At the time of these offenses, he was on probation following two prior drug trafficking convictions.
This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America (https://www.justice.gov/dag/media/1393746/dl?inline), a national initiative led by the Department of Justice aimed at countering illegal immigration, dismantling cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime. The operation brings together resources from Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
The investigation involved cooperation between the FBI’s Allentown Office, Pennsylvania State Police, and Shenandoah Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Tatum R. Wilson prosecuted the case.
