City of Allentown issued the following announcement on Aug 6.
The American Red Cross is mobilized across multiple counties, including Lehigh, to assist those impacted by the severe weather and flooding brought to the area by Tropical Storm Isaias.
Red Cross teams are actively collaborating with local emergency management officials to provide immediate support for displaced families, provide disaster assessments, identify local community need, coordinate distribution of clean up kits for residents affected by flooding, and support communities through recovery.
Flooding clean up kits will be distributed to residents from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. today at Cetronia Ambulance Corps, 4300 Broadway, Allentown, PA 18104.
Anyone impacted by Tropical Storm Isaias and in need of Red Cross assistance is urged to call 1-800-422-7677.
