About the event

If you are anticipating a "what are your plans for after graduation" or "did you start your job search" questions at the Thanksgiving table and were not able to attend the Fall Senior Boot Camp, you are welcome to sign up early for the Spring Senior Boot Camp to be held on Monday, January 17 (the day before classes resume) from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, covering:

- With as many as 80% of jobs never listed and being filled through referrals and networking, how can you access the hidden job market no matter your current comfort level with networking?

- What is the "right" timeline for your job search? And what can you do now to identify opportunities?

- How can I make my undergraduate and other experiences stand out on a resume/vitae, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile?

- How can I avoid dangerous pitfalls on social media that could harm my networking and job search efforts?

- Where can I find and how should I reach out to F&M alum for their advice, mentorship and job search support?

While registering may not lead to employment before Thanksgiving, it will set you on a path to secure a job in the Spring, which should be good news for your family to digest with that turkey and stuffing! (Fall Senior Boot Camp participants are also welcome to join in the event as a refresher.)
