Census Bureau: 79.2% of people in Pennsylvania were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 12,970,650 citizens living in Pennsylvania in 2021, 79.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 10,266,168 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 5,008,302 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 5,257,866 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Pennsylvania during 2021 was higher than the national average, which stands at 77.5%.
