Rep. Brendan Boyle, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 2nd district, recently expressed concerns on social media regarding privacy issues involving Elon Musk. His series of tweets highlighted his apprehensions about Musk's access to sensitive personal data and called for legislative action.

On February 4, 2025, Rep. Boyle tweeted, "Musk is an unelected billionaire with no accountability. He’s proven time and again that he only cares about himself and his bottom line. Why should he have access to your most sensitive information?" This tweet reflects Boyle's criticism of Musk's influence and control over personal data.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Boyle stated, "Elon Musk now has full access to the personal data of every American—your tax info, Social Security details, everything. This is a massive privacy violation, and it should outrage every American." Here, Boyle emphasizes the potential risks associated with Musk having access to such extensive personal information.

Further expressing his commitment to addressing this issue, Boyle declared in a subsequent tweet on February 4, 2025: "As a member of @WaysMeansCmte, I’ll do everything in my power to stop this outrageous privacy violation. House Republicans need to stop ignoring this crisis. It’s time for them to bring up legislation to protect YOUR privacy." In this statement, he calls for legislative measures to safeguard citizens' privacy rights.
