Traffic shifts on I-376 Parkway West in Collier and Robinson townships, Allegheny County, are set to begin Monday night, June 16, weather permitting. According to PennDOT District 11, traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction between the Ridge Road (Exit 61) and I-79 (Exit 64A) interchanges from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday as crews prepare for a new traffic configuration.
Once implemented, motorists will use two 11-foot outer lanes for travel until early August to facilitate bridge and median barrier work. Additionally, bridge work starting at 9 p.m. Monday will continue through mid-September, requiring continuous closure and detour of ramps from Boyce Road to eastbound I-376 and westbound I-376 to Campbells Run Road (Exit 62).
The ramp work is part of a $12.6 million project on the Parkway West between Ridge Road (Exit 61) and I-79 (Exit 64A). Additional work includes milling and paving on I-376, ramp preservation, overhead sign structure repairs, drainage improvements, guide rail updates, and sign and pavement marking installation planned for completion in late 2025. Punch list work is expected to continue through January 2026.
