A Wall, Pennsylvania resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The announcement was made by First Assistant United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.
Dylan Weyandt, 34, admitted guilt to two counts before United States District Judge William S. Stickman IV on November 17, 2025.
According to information presented during the plea hearing, between February 2022 and February 2023, Weyandt coerced two minors living outside the Western District of Pennsylvania into engaging in sexually explicit acts for the purpose of producing and sending him images and videos depicting such conduct. He reportedly met his victims through a social media application and used both compliments and threats to obtain explicit material from them.
Judge Stickman set sentencing for March 23, 2026. The offenses carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a possible fine of up to $250,000. The actual sentence will be determined based on federal guidelines that consider the seriousness of the crime and any prior criminal history.
Weyandt is currently detained while awaiting sentencing.
Assistant United States Attorney Heidi M. Grogan is prosecuting the case for the government.
The investigation leading to Weyandt’s prosecution was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation-Pittsburgh’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, with support from the Allegheny County Police Department and Selma (California) Police Department.
This case falls under Project Safe Childhood, an initiative started by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse by coordinating efforts among federal, state, and local agencies.
