The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced lane restrictions for a water line replacement project in Indiana County. The project, set to last two years, will be conducted by Shadco and Ferri Contracting. They will install a new water line across Buffington, Cherry Hill, Pine, Green, and Blacklick townships on Routes 422, 403/South Strongstown, and 580 to 240.

Work is scheduled from Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The tentative timeline for the project is as follows:

– Route 422/Iverson Road: June 23 through July 22
– Route 403/School Road: July 22 through August 11
– Route 403/Cameron Bottom Road: August 11 through January 5, 2026
– Route 580/Penns Manor to Uniontown: January 26, 2026 through June 23, 2027

The schedule may change due to weather conditions. Traffic restrictions will be managed with flaggers. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area and anticipate possible delays.
