Jashan Moore, a 33-year-old resident of York County, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 186 months in federal prison for his role in a drug trafficking operation. The sentence was handed down by United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson on December 2, 2025.

According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, Moore led a drug trafficking ring that shipped kilogram quantities of methamphetamine to York and arranged payments to suppliers in Mexico through international wire transfers. Moore pleaded guilty to all charges related to three incidents in April and May 2021, during which police conducted undercover purchases of heroin and fentanyl from him. He also participated in the shipment of a parcel containing five kilograms of crystal methamphetamine that authorities seized on June 5, 2021.

Judge Wilson noted Moore’s lengthy criminal history and repeated parole violations when determining the sentence. At the time of these offenses, Moore was already on parole with state authorities. The judge ordered that his federal sentence be served consecutively to any punishments for violating parole.

The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the York City Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael A. Consiglio is prosecuting the case.

This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America (https://www.justice.gov/dag/media/1393746/dl?inline), a nationwide initiative by the Department of Justice aimed at combating illegal immigration, dismantling cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and addressing violent crime by coordinating resources from various federal programs.

Additionally, this case falls under a district-wide effort led by the United States Attorney’s Office known as the Heroin Initiative, which focuses on targeting heroin traffickers within the Middle District of Pennsylvania through collaboration among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
