City of Allentown issued the following announcement on May 27.
The Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council in partnership with Muhlenberg College and the City of Allentown will distribute Operation BBQ relief meal boxes on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Muhlenberg College at 2400 Chew Street.
The meal boxes will be distributed from a large refrigerated truck in Muhlenberg’s Prosser parking lot- behind Seegers Union.
Organizers will distribute approximately 1,700 meal boxes. Distribution will be on a first come, first served basis until meals run out. Each person will receive a pan of fresh cooked frozen restaurant meals for four.
There is no charge and no personal information is needed to participate.
Each passenger must wear a mask.
