Rep. Brendan Boyle, currently serving as a U.S. Congress member representing Pennsylvania’s 2nd district, has been vocal regarding recent significant events through his social media presence. Boyle, who succeeded Allyson Schwartz in 2015 and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015, shared his views and announcements in a series of tweets.

On April 13, 2025, Boyle expressed his dismay over an arson attack at the Governor's Mansion in Harrisburg. "I’m horrified by the arson at the Governor’s Mansion in Harrisburg. There is absolutely no place for this kind of violence in our state or our country." Despite the alarming incident, Boyle conveyed relief that the governor and his family were unharmed and commended the rapid response of first responders.

Only a couple of days later, on April 15, 2025, Boyle highlighted a constitutional concern related to immigration enforcement. "Kilmar Abrego Garcia was deported even though the courts said he shouldn’t have been. Now Trump is refusing to follow a unanimous Supreme Court order to bring him back. We are in a constitutional crisis." Boyle's statement pointed to an alleged non-compliance issue with a Supreme Court order involving former President Donald Trump.

Also, on April 15, 2025, Boyle reached out to constituents regarding educational opportunities in the military service. "Every year, I'm privileged to nominate bright and hardworking students to attend our nation's military service academies. If you are a high school student or an interested parent, please attend my Service Academy Information Fair on Saturday, April 26th." This announcement aims to engage students interested in military service education through an informational fair.

Boyle, born in 1977 in Philadelphia and a University of Notre Dame alumnus, remains active in his representative role and communication with the public regarding critical issues and opportunities.
