Trump leads Harris by one point in Pennsylvania, poll shows

Former President Donald Trump (R) is ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris (D) by one point in Pennsylvania in the 2024 race for the White House.

That’s according to a poll of Pennsylvania voters released by TechnoMetrica.

Trump and Harris are 49-48% in both a head-to-head matchup and a multi candidate race among likely voters.

Currently, 15% of Pennsylvania voters are undecided about the upcoming election and say they could still be persuaded about their decision. 

Catholic voters in the state lean towards Trump, with 58-38% preferring him over Harris, making up a large portion of Trump's support in the state.

The majority, 57% of Pennsylvania voters said they were better off financially under President Trump, marking a 24 point lead over Harris, who 33% of voters prefer economically. 

In regards to border security, Trump has a 21% leads among voters who prefer he, rather than Harris, be in charge of immigration. Trump also leads in terms of national security, with a 9% lead over Harris among Pennsylvania voters.

A majority of voters, 67%, say they believe the media works on behalf of Harris and works against Trump. When asking only Pennsylvania Democrats, 51% of voters say the media favors Harris.

The poll also revealed a close Senate race in the state, with incumbent Bob Casey (D) at 47% and Republican candidate Dave McCormick at 43%.

The American Greatness/TIPP survey was conducted online between October 7 to October 9 among 803 registered Pennsylvania voters who were likely to vote in the November election.
