FOIA Request to Susquehanna County Regarding Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Logs on October 7, 2024.
We at Keystone Today, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, have formally requested records under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law. The request specifically asks for a list of FOIA logs sent to Susquehanna County from January 1, 2024, till October 7, 2024.
The requested information includes the following fields: Requester Name, Requester Organization, Request Content, Request Date, Request Complete Date, and FOIA Status. This data is critical in our mission to provide transparency and hold public institutions accountable.
As members of the media involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, we believe access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. We have also sought a fee waiver as media professionals given our role in disseminating information.
